Texas Opioid Treatment Alliance (TOTA) ensures access to pharmacotherapy treatment to opiate addicted persons across Texas. We believe that addiction is a treatable disease which manifests in many complex physical, behavioral, psychological and spiritual patterns. TOTA is committed to the concept that each patient is different and requires individualized levels and modalities of care. TOTA believes that empowering patients to participate in their own care is of the utmost importance and encourages the development of patient assistance groups.

We have developed a methadone treatment provider network to make indigent treatment available in all areas of the State.

Chemical addiction is a devastating disease involving body, mind and spirit. The mission of Texas Opioid Treatment Alliance is to promote the growth and development of pharmacotherapy treatment services in Texas.

Texas Opioid Treatment Alliance has been successfully advocating for provider and patients since 2000. The staff is dedicated to improving the pharmacotherapy services in Texas through advocacy, funding and the utilization of the latest advances in psychiatry and addiction medicine.
